Yes, they took the car to the dealership to do that and was around $1,400 plus $200 towing charges...

We picked up our car last Monday, Jul 2-nd... :D Basically more than 5 weeks after the accident... Everything seems to me OK, all the previous custom setting were preserved, the car looks and runs like new... Total cost... $10K ( $9K for the repair and $1K for the rental). Way too expensive on...

I didn't even talk to them.... I just followed the instructions and recovered the old ones and sent them in with a check for $8, providing brief info on the form you need to submit. Got them in 10 days or so... You can not use the old ones..... when you peel them of, the word VOID pops up all...

I have to correct my previous statement as I just called the bodyshop and they told me that they had to have the battery removed at the dealer and they will finish the repair first and then have the battery placed back on the car. But the reason for that was the trunk bed which was bent and it...

My guys told me from the beginning that they will bake at lower temperature. They knew already that ... because as soon as I mentioned that I'm concerned about the painting he told be right away about lower temperature ... They didn't remove the batteries from any of the previous cars they had...

Got the HOV stickers replacements from DMV . Took about 10 days. I did follow the recommendations and asked the body shop to removed them from the bumper at the time I dropped of the car... good advice ...!

Since is been a week from my accident and I still don't have an estimate for the repairs, I would recommend you to make sure the person assigned for your claim knows and understands this is an electric car... In my case, the AAA guy sent out a regular "adjuster" to the body shop to find out that...

Took the car to the recommended Euro American Collision Center which is working with the Connell Nissan in Costa Mesa. I asked them to remove the HOV stickers and they did it right away, took 5 minutes only, hitting up from the other side of the bumper. Need to wait till Tuesday for anything to...

Gary, I called them up and they referred me to a body shop they are working with. Euro American Collision Center. However, they are not getting involved themselves...

I think the car would be perfectly drivable if the bumper and the bottom protective cover would not be on the ground....
