    Charging timer question

Yes it's "on" in the menu, maybe that's it but the timer on the 2017 Leaf is way more confusing than on the 2013 models. If it's doing that it is very silly, I don't need 100% SOC and want to start after 9pm to get my off peak rate. Not sure I like Nissan's logic on this one. I'll keep playing...

    Charging timer question

I just got a 2017 Leaf SV and set the timer to start charging at 9pm and end at 9am, just to test it out. I'm using 120V so the estimated time to charge is about 22 hours so I do not expect to charge to 100%. However, when I plug the charger in at 8:45pm it starts charging right away. I tried...

Colorado is very EV friendly at least for now. The Republicans in the state legislator are trying to kill any state EV incentives.

    2013 Leaf bar loss.

I hope so, but the garage can get hot in the summers. I need to get leafspy to verify my battery condition but my calculations based on miles/Kwh and range seems to show a good state for my battery with now 40k miles and still 12 bars.

    2013 Leaf bar loss.

I just purchased a 2013 Leaf SL, built 8/13 with 39K miles with 12 bars. The car was sold new and leased in the Colorado Mountains so I assume it was cool most of the time. Now in Denver so let's see how it holds up with our summers.

So, owners what range are you getting ?

when my SOC reads 56% with an average of 4.3 miles/Kwh my range shows 50 miles in warm weather. If I calculate the range I get 57 miles. Does this tell me anything about my battery condition? Dash is showing 12 bars still on my 2013 leaf with 39,000 miles.

    Order of unplugging L1 charger

I did check the outlet, stay's cool so no issues as long as I don't use the hair dryer on the same plug.

    Order of unplugging L1 charger

Thank you! One time my breaker tripped while charging the car (was using a hair dryer on the same outlet which isn't too bright) so I unplugged the charge handle then reset the breaker, plugged in the EVSE to the wall, then re-plugged the handle back into the vehicle. It seems so be OK and work...

    Order of unplugging L1 charger

I am new to the leaf, just purchased a used 2013 SL. If I need to disconnect the EVSE plug from the car while it is still charging is it OK to simply pull the plug from the car? Or is it better to press the Charge Timer so charging stops and then disconnect the plug from the car? I tried...
