You only need resistors on the turn bulbs you switch over. So if you only do the front bulbs, you only need 2. If you do the rears, you need 4. Chiv.

The resistors aren't in use when the turn lights aren't flashing. They only trick the car into thinking there's a higher draw when you use the turn signals. In parking light mode, the resistors aren't used. I use dual colour bulbs in mine, white when the low beams are on, amber when turning...

FYI. The KW-902 Wifi versions are also affected. Unfortunately the board is very different from the original post, so I'm unsure which resistor to remove. Didn't help that the build quality was poor, so one wire had come loose of the solder point and was just hanging there...

That's disappointing. But good to know they're not just blocking Canadian's from the upgrade. Perhaps there's something wrong with their side of the system and all installs are blocked until it's fixed. Or perhaps they've noticed Canadian's and are in the process of killing the roaming...

So just as a heads up for anyone not on our Facebook thread. Jonkers Nissan is now actively being blocked by Nissan (US?) from activating new TCU installs. They are unsure why Nissan is doing this, but have their regional manager looking into it. So for now they have cancelled all installs...

I can confirm Bosch H250 10" wiper is a perfect fit replacement for the rear wiper (at least on my 2013 SV). It costs around $10Cdn on ebay. Chiv.

When we had the work around, triflic was able to get the Nissan Rep to add his VIN to the Canadian Portal, so it was almost like a Canadian LEAF. I suspect this was a no-no. You can always ask though. Chiv.

The work around was working for around 3-4 weeks until Nissan killed it on their end entirely. So the 2G units still function, but Nissan's server refuses to talk to it (even though it can) by blocking the VIN. Essentially they're forcing everyone with a US car to get the 3G upgrade if they...

I believe you can also just pull fuse F34 located in the fuse box next to the 12v battery. From what I read it just pulls power from the TCU to reset it. Hopefully will save you from losing your other settings. I haven't had to do this myself though. Chiv
