Glad you took it in. I found out that the passenger side wheel bearing was replaced when it went through the CPO inspection, so both of my front have been replaced as well. Hopefully this doesn't ended up being too common for everyone!

Got the Leaf back. Driver front wheel bearing was the problem - all quiet now. No cost to me because it was covered under factory powertrain warranty. It's nice to have a quiet Leaf like it should be!

I was told that it should be fully covered under the powertrain warranty. (5yr / 60k?)

Front

No difference in sound when cornering. The sound seemed to be the most noticeable starting at about 35 mph, and then it sounded like riding on mud tires from 35 mph and faster. There is a chance that my efficiency will go up with smooth spinning bearings, right? :?: :P

I just rotated tires - no difference. I scheduled to take it to Nissan tomorrow morning. Kinda ticked I will be out my $50 CPO deductable when the car was delivered to me this way!

27,xxx miles. I pumped the tires up to 42 psi and still have the same noise. I guess I will need with rotating them next since it seems like the noise is mostly from the front.

The tires only have a few hundred miles on them. I should check the pressure, but I would think if they were low enough to cause that noise, then they would look low. The Leaf drives fine though - No vibration through steering wheel or shaking, and the noise doesn't get worse while cornering...
