    I don't really understand Nissan's Strategy

With twice much population, higher population density, and more than 1000 CHAdeMO in Europe, in 2014 Leaf sale was 50% of US sale, indicating that CHAdeMO may have no effect on Leaf sale. Wonder if there is any study how existing 400 CHAdeMO chargers in US affected Leaf sale?

    I don't really understand Nissan's Strategy

If OP is convinced that 400 CHAdeMO chargers is what is needed to completely change demand for middle range EV, than this is great business opportunity. Wonder if OP is willing to invest in this business? Modest investment - unlimited profit potential.

I think the best will be drop attitude and spread the message, and that will help Tesla, Nissan and GM to make EV profitable does not matter if SC or QC there or not.

Car was listed as new I ask him if that was with MCO or regular title - for fed tax purpose. I treated this as a "badge I own this"

Maybe still true for some that bought other EV brand. This was answer from guy selling Tesla P85D.

and not only there is sizable discussion on TMCF if one need high performance P85D or S85 is good enough with many suggesting that even S70D is adequate. Tesla better hurry up with mass market car and better deliver with competitive to others price.

http://www.nytimes.com/2015/05/15/automobiles/wheels/with-gas-prices-less-of-a-worry-buyers-pass-hybrids-cars-by.html?_r=1 As I said before I do a lot of long range trips, and personally will not stop for fuel if possible so I use my 600 mile range car for my trips with 200 car for local trips...

    I don't really understand Nissan's Strategy

If I remember correctly GM developed Volt without Tesla help and sold 2 x more Volts in US comparing Tesla EV. I am not sure how this happened. Tesla does not advertise their cars and I do not believe they recommended purchase of either Volt or Leaf to potential customers. As previously...

and for that reason Tesla so far sold in US about 44K with GM and Nissan about 70K each. Tesla worldwide 80K and Nissan much more than 200K. Tesla have big plans but Nissan is selling and that is the difference. It is easy to say marketing done right, should Nissan give cars for free? What...

    I don't really understand Nissan's Strategy

Either way you slice it, EV market is tough and one may wonder if gasoline price is a big factor or EV is not there yet for common buyer to accept it. IMO Leaf is reliable commuter car and it won't take much for Nissan get the range updated either with their battery or whatever is best for...

    I don't really understand Nissan's Strategy

I really understand Nissan's Strategy, as of today there are 5689 new Leaf in dealers inventory which is 3 to 4 months supply (cars.com). To me it seems that there is not much interest in buying Leaf even with nice discounts offered by Nissan. I really doubt that additional 400 CHAdeMO chargers...

Reservations in 2017 or 2018? Model 3 should be for general public and readily available, at some point Tesla have to start building volume and sell volume.

    I don't really understand Nissan's Strategy

I thought that Nissan was on the way to enable the revolution when Leaf was introduced. In the meantime price for the Leaf drop significantly, but sale is still similar to what it was when everybody was waiting so anxiously to get pre ordered Leaf. Back than condition was very favorable as gas...

    I don't really understand Nissan's Strategy

I think is about time to get real. Where is the big crowd of potential customers waiting to buy BEV? Nissan manage to sell relatively big number of Leaf, but price that people pay is near close to $35K after fed tax credit. I wish Tesla all the best, but to me expectation for Tesla economy car...
