As a sailor planning a trip to south and central America in a 30ft sailboat, a trip like that sounds very appealing to me. I average probably less than 8mph, anything else is fast. Are there any other good sources for right ups about trips like that?

I have never used the timer yet for charging so I don't know what issues can happen. This morning the temp gauge showed -8F. The seat and steering heaters worked great. I don't see me using it in temps above 30F. I have never driven a car that warms up so quickly. That was my biggest worry...

I am loving how quickly the car warms up with this freezing Chicago weather we are having this week. I just cannot get used to the cameras around the car for some reason. I have no idea about the tow hook, I will have to look into it.

Hey I am new here and in the same situation. I bought a new 2015 Leaf a few days ago and I love it. mbender is right, just stop and recharge, seems to help slow down life a bit to me. Good luck! Jeff
