I wonder if that same "auto" setting is in the Kona. On one forum, I think the U.K. one, someone mentioned he couldn't unlock his charging connector until pushing the door unlock function on the fob . Still waiting :(

Try opening the hatch manually thru the little slot from the inside, then determine if it was caused by a jam.

First I heard of this. What is your location? Try to get the model #'s and s/n#s if possible. Perhaps some later manufactured units incorporated different electronic board and thus could be traced (given a schematic) to remedy older units.

So if charging at a 16 amp EVSE (3840 W- depending if single phase 240V or 2 legs off a 3 phase 208V may be less) and the heat pump cuts in/out, would the dash not report this change as 3 Kw / 6 Kw?

They should still be there unless you cleared them with Leafspy. My question is if Nissan is hesitant on performing battery pack warranty work ( under "normal circumstances") unless it throws a DTC code, than there could be a lot of Leafs out there with weak cells causing ltd range or sudden...

I don't suppose it ever threw any DTC codes, what we might look for if running into a similar situation. Check with Leaf spy in the service menu-enable service screen/ Read DTCs. Possible cell over discharge P3375-P338C or ASIC open P33E6 for example. Please report back if any found.

Should be able to swap leads with other cells (obviously tag them first) to verify.

The weak cells (module) may charge to 4.1v but may not hold their charge under load, if you have any success let us know BTW very low km's given the year and amount of charges, something funny there.
