    Should I take 7108 for my 2013 SV ?

7108 from KBB dealer. 7K from Carmax. Bye bye baby. It’s been a great 4.5 yrs knowing you. Sitting at KBB dealer now as they do the final papers.

    Should I take 7108 for my 2013 SV ?

Not sure what additional info you want. Battery still has 12 bars. I routinely charge it to 100% daily and it reaches between 85 and 88. Probably within 5 miles of when I got it new. Well, off for a second quote. Might come back with no car. New car in my horizon !

    Should I take 7108 for my 2013 SV ?

I have a firm offer for 7108 for my 2013 SV (Premium Package, but no QC; 46K miles; still have all 12 bars on battery). KBB says trade-in is in the range of 6900 to 8200. This is in San Jose, CA. I don’t quite believe the top end of the range, so I am tempted. Comments from anybody who has...

    Post Your Order Details Here

Also check PG&E - there is an additional 3K rebate so with 3.5K from PG&E & Fed & State your price will be 17095. Wow. One caveat : no all-weather package (if you needed heated seats and steering wheel you need to keep looking).

GCC: Nissan shifting EV focus to affordability instead of range

Interesting how perspective differ. In my view, Tesla M3 starts at 50K. So with 57% depreciation, 5 yr TCO is actually 29K (not 20K). And Leaf has 3K PG&E rebate. With 70% depreciationthe TCO come down to 19K (not 21K). 10K cost difference over 5 yrs. At this time next year, maybe the 35K M3...

$3,000 rebate for PG&E Leaf buyers.

Just saw that PG&E announced a 3K rebate on 2018 Leaf (in addition to 500 previous rebate). With the Fed 7500 and CA 2500, now the rebates add up to 13.5K. Wow. I was considering a Clarity, but this is giving me pause. Anybody know if the rebate applies to lease, or purchase only ?

    End of Lease Strategies?

5K off for me (2013 SV with PP, 30K miles, 3 year lease ends next week, 30K miles & 12 bars on car). 13.9K -> 8.9K. Also free CPO warranty (7 years total = 4 more years) . Doing the deal as we speak, waiting for CPO inspection...

    End of Lease Strategies?

Dealer says on the buyout price (which is what I was hoping).

    End of Lease Strategies?

Is sales tax on the residual value ? Or on the discounted buyout price ? (My residual is 13.9K, buyout price is 8.9K). At dealer now waiting to get the car inspected, so appreciate a quick response (so I can cross-check what the dealer tells me!). --Sunil

    End of Lease Strategies?

I do not have QC. But the range works for me (will work even with 11 bars). My round trip commute is 45 miles, and I have free charging at work (have been getting away with just trickle charging at work on weekdays and at home on weekends). Have been considering a TurboCord since I have a...

    End of Lease Strategies?

So today a Bay Area dealer offered to let me buy out my 2013 SV for 6.9K. That's 7K off my 13.9K residual. I said yes and made a Friday appointment to complete deal. Then he calls back and says Oops. Mistake. He meant to say 8.9K. All apologetic. Then he calls back and says he fell on his...

Leaf Price / Discount discussion thread

I have not even asked about the residual. In 3 years, I see no chance I will want an EV with just 107 miles range. Actually I am still not completely sure I want it now. Still half-hoping somebody will make me a fantastic deal to just keep my 2013 SV (so far best I am getting is 9440 = 4500...

Leaf Price / Discount discussion thread

Got the following offer for a 2016 SV (no packages). 2999 drive-off (Down payment & taxes and first months payment included) 155/month & taxes monthly (don't have the number with monthly taxes but I estimate 175) So total will be roughly 9100 (this is San Jose CA) I am turning in my 2013 SV to...

    End of Lease Strategies?

I have a 2013 SV, lease expires next week. My dealer is only quoting me the 4500 discount on buyback (so ~9600) and will not budge - but I am seeing posts from others with much larger discounts offered. Can anybody share contacts from dealers in the Bay Area (San Jose) who offered larger...

Wholesale value of the 2013 Leaf @Auction-March '18

Thank you. So my dealer's buyout offer (9.6K) is at close to retail price of 9.9K, and way above the wholesale price of 6.4K. Lets see if I can negotiate something in the middle. Thanks again.

Wholesale value of the 2013 Leaf @Auction-March '18

Could you post the numbers for a 2013 SV ? I see the SL numbers (8K average). My dealer is asking me for 9.6K for my 2013 SV with 29K miles. Want to make a case that it should really be 7.6K or I walk away...

    End of Lease Strategies?

In Silicon Valley. My lease is up on Nov 30. Dealer is only offering 4500 discount to buyback. 2013 SV with 13.9K residual, so that will be approx 9.5K. I don't think I will be taking this, even though the car has only 30K miles on it. KBB is only 6.9K. Anybody here get better offers recently...

    End of Lease Strategies?

Got my end of lease inspection today. Clean. no questions about what maintenance I had / had-not done. Straight forward process. 2013 SV. Lease expires Nov 30. So now I have 45 days to decide "next". Buying my SV is an option (still has all 12 bars) but dealer said no discount off 13.9K...
