If you're going to be there all day, then a 15A outdoor 120V GFCI outlet would be fine. That would charge you back up about 32-35 miles of range in the 8 hours plugged in at work...bringing you to just about full again.... It's cheap, and they could do it with a high-quality extension cord...

Personally, I think just about every sit-down restaurant/mall/theater in the country ought to put in AT LEAST 2-4 L2 chargers. You use a credit card to 'start' charging, at about $2.50/hr ALL THE TIME you are plugged in..... HERE'S the NEW PART..... Have an RFID or 'smartcard' reader on...

So what's the hazard if I don't tear the adapter apart and move the power input? Does it run down my battery? How can I tell if I need to do this? just look for the red light if the car is off and not charging?
