I just completed my California DMV vanity plate order. 8-12 weeks for delivery. TRONZ VERY surprised this was not taken yet. Pretty much future proof. ;)

I did not know about CCI. That is very clever and totally reminds me of vending machines. I can think of a dozen or so local businesses that would jump at the chance to have these. It would be safe to say that the private sector also has a very strong interest ($$$) in EV infrastructure...

OK, thanks. So ECO has hired Bovis as their PM and it sounds like it will all be design/build. Contractors will just bid on the projects as they come up. Sounds reasonable. Anyone know about AV? Or is AV not really going to be doing the public chargers?

I am very curious to know what design and construction firms are being used for the public charging stations? Especially in SoCal where I live. There are alot of threads about the vendor products (chargers) but this is only a small part of the Public Charging puzzle. Each public charging...

Did Nissan say that they would release orders every day of every month? Did I miss something? All speculation aside, I am pretty sure someone not getting an eMail to order simply means they did not get an eMail to order.

Batteries and range will improve much like data storage and batteries have improved for tech devices. The great thing is that batteries will all be plug-n-play for first generation EV's. Future packs for the Leaf will be smaller, lighter and give better range. It is a certainty... but let's...

Working as a kid at an auto dealership, I remember trying to shag an OLD Saab in back for service. It took 5 minutes and 2 mechanics for us to figure out where the friggen key went! Hint; buried waaaay down in the side of the center console?!?!????

... AND I am still waiting for Bio-Diesel at the pumps!!! It looked promising when I got the 350 in 08. Now not so sure it will happen as long as there is a drop of crude to be drilled for somewhere in the world :cry: .
