The other guy's insurance is proceeding , but slowly . Thanks for the advice . :-) We will see what we will see ......... God bless Wyr PS My Wife said after the accident , the car would not go . Hit in the rear . Is there a " kill sensor " that would be keeping the car from...

Yes , that is available , but I do not trust the city NOT to do even more funny math . :-( In fact , I trust the city not at all ! :-( God bless Wyr

And I bet they are too big to let them fail ! :-( Oh , seems I have heard that before ? 11% return means the more they spend , the more they can charge , the more they can make . Sweet ! God bless Wyr

    Electric bill

Best I remember , when I rebuilt / upgraded the service to 200 amp . It is still the traditional / old electro -mechanical kWh meter . Unless the City Utility has swapped it out for a digital meter . I honestly would be supprised if they actually read the meter more than 3 - 4 times a...

    Electric bill

Got an email with the electric bill for August 2016 657 kWh for $72.97 . ( 34 days ) September 2016 2797 kWh for $ 285.37 . ( 28 days ) This raises way more questions than it answers ? Both months should reflect " normal " summer time home consumption +...

Used 2012 Leaf - Rear Ended Yesterday

I suspect the 2017 Bolt will be way out of my price range ( especially when it first hits the market ) , unless Chevy offers some fantastic leases . I also expect the 2017 or 2018 LEAF WILL have a larger than 30 kwh battery . They will be under a LOT of pressure to join the 200 + mile...

Used 2012 Leaf - Rear Ended Yesterday

Wife , Daughter & Son in Law are OK . Thank you for asking . :-) So , 2013 to get heat pump ? 2016 model to get the 30 kwh battery . Price wise , do not see myself going there . Unless I wait a year for the price on 2016models to come down . Some info indicates 2014 model SV &...

Wife & our Leaf rear ended yesterday . Other guy got the ticket . Starting the insurance process . No Idea if it will be totaled ? If it is totaled & depending on how well the other guy's insurance pays off , considering options . List of improvements that I would like ; A - Heat...

    Electric bill

Best I can tell , about $ .11 per KWH . Drove a little over 1200 miles . Dash display showing 4.1 miles / KWH . Guess is around $ 30 - $ 35 for the Leaf . Charging circuit is not 100% efficient . God bless Wyr

    Electric bill

I get efficiency . Although I did not know the numbers . The energy lost is just part of the cost of doing business . So the L2 is something like 10% more efficient than L1 . A consideration , but not going to break the bank . However , L1 being slower would have less impact on battery...

    Electric bill

Only charged L1 one time . Rest L2 . But for all practical purposes the cost to charge should be almost the same for L1 or L2 . L1 pulls power but takes , maybe , 3 times as long . The 2012 model Leaf has a 3.3 kw charger built into the car . Latter model year Leafs have a 6.6 kw charger ...
