The SETEC adaptor is fairly common among tesla owners in northern B.C. few Superchargers and lots of Chademo/CCS, and more all the time.
We just use our Chademo adaptor. Works.
We have had maybe 4 new Chademo/CCS (coming soon) sites pop on plug share in BC since Christmas.
Oh. And Leafs are starting to show in stock at BC dealers again.
Cheers.
I see the term FSD city used from time to time. Not sure if that is catching on or not. We have FSD. Not the “city” version. FSD works well for us although it’s level 2 do needs constant supervision. We use probably 90 percent of the time. Even in the city. We just disengage if we have to make a...
No idea. Not sure if one would be able to get the EV credit if they did. It’s usually done by the dealer.
EV’s of every type are in short supply here. Except Mach E’s. Lots of them on lots here. Weird
Our Y delivery window just shifted back again. Now it’s Feb 26 to Mar 26. Actually works better for us as the roads to the coast are pretty unpredictable this time of year. We already bought chains but hope to not use them. All season mud and snows it is. Ugh. Should be fine by then though...
Spoke (texted) with another dealer in BC. He confirmed what the other dealer confirmed. They can order a new leaf for someone with a possible fall arrival. They will not be getting any for stock as Nissan has told them that production capacity is shared with the Arriya and that takes priority...
I texted with a leaf sales person in Victoria yesterday and asked about the lack of leafs in Canada. Was surprised to hear (see) that according to her they are not expecting any 2022 leafs in Canada but are taking orders for the 2023 models which will be arriving in the fall. Not sure what to...
Good morning fellow leaf fans. Found this article. Thought I would share. I kinda like the idea of the leaf continuing on. We still do t need a second vehicle but if we do it would still be our more economical go to.
Cheers.

Yah for sure. Our fob worked fine for us with our leaf. I think now it might be hard to go back because we don’t carry keys of any kind anymore. House door is a keypad as well. Kinda miss the push the button on the door and unlock passengers door thingy on the leaf. It was a great little car...
Yep. Essentially no one was locked out because of the server, they were locked out because they neglected to carry their key card or have a ring. I never take my ring off, and my card is always in my wallet.
Congrats. It’s exactly what we would buy if we were getting another leaf. We are currently driving that colour but in a model 3. Honestly I think the late model leafs in that colour are stunning in sun or shade. Feel free to post some pics. Would love to see it. Congrats again. Great car.
We stored our 2016 SE for 17 weeks one winter. Charged it to 70 percent. Parked it in the garage and left. The night we got home we put a trickle.charger on the 12 volt battery. Next morning got up and started it with no issue. Think we lost like 3 or 4 percent of charge over the 17 weeks. Easy...
