I received my registration and HOV stickers together. Still waiting for the parking sticker.
On the registration, it says NFEE in the fees paid section. Did anyone notice this?

I'd agree with the rest of the the folks. Talk to Ron. I paid with a personal check and no questions asked. I did buy the extended warranty. No pressure.
For car transactions, the sales tax will go to your county/city. It's just that the profits from the sale of your car did not stay in Sunnyvale community. Hey, but you can't give up $1700 for nothing.
Ron @ Northbay Nissan noticed this as well. However, he said that it was not my problem that Nissan increased the delivery charges. He said he would deal with Nissan directly. Ron is one of the most honest salespersons out there. Thanks, Ron. He did honor the original price.
The drive was painful. I constantly drove between 50 and 55 MPH. I think mine was about 81 miles. Entire drive in ECO mode with no climate control (including fan) going on. 86 miles will be close.
I'm not quite sure if the CA rebate will be available when the i goes on sale. I did read recently that they are working on something for next year and the rebate amount might be less than the $5K for today's LEAF buyers. If there were a 5K rebate on the i, that would be really great. The car...
The i is about $5K cheaper than LEAF. However, most options which are standard on leaf are either not available on the i (eg: Carwings) or an option (eg: Navigation). Maybe for folks who do not care much for some these niceties of the LEAF, i is an option.
