For those of you wanting a speedy bar reduction, I wish you the best..once you qualify for the warranty I can assure you they will be prompt and professional in swapping out the battery..well in my case that's how I saw it.

From what I was told by the Leaf specialist, the Tenessee plant is set up to only make the newer packs. From my understanding the '13 Leaf packs were redesigned to make more room int he trunk and make it more practical.

Just so all here are aware, I think I was one of the first Leafers to have my battery replaced...regardless of any involvment with lawsuit (opting out or not)...the dealer called the "Leaf dept.' checked my battery history, and they got the ok...I had a rental for one day and it was good to go...

I don't think they would replace batteries under nine bars with batteries that have 10 or 11 bars. That would mean more time and money spent under warranty claims. It was just a buffer statement.
