    E-pedal Safety in rainy weather

You just have to be smart about it and use it somewhat responsibly. Take some time driving with ePedal in good dry conditions first so that you get used to managing the pedal in a smooth manner. Just yanking your foot off the gas with ePedal on is like immediately going from the gas to jumping...

    Etiquette at public chargers

I always check in on PlugShare, but unfortunately it seems that (at least in my city) despite the number of EV owners visibly growing, it appears it's still the same group of us who actually have the courtesy to check in and contribute to PlugShare, rather than just being a leech. I carry a...

Leaf gen1 2012 not charges more than 83-86%

That's also normal. Once you charge past 95%, the SOC and kWh readings jump around a bit between right before you unplug, right after you unplug, and the next time you restart. Multiple times I've sat in the car while charging with the ignition on to run heat/AC and so I can see the battery...

    2018 Bose wiring

It's located in the trunk on the right side, behind the panel where the trunk light is. You have to remove that entire panel to get to the amplfiier, so it's most likely easier to grab the low-level signals behind the radio instead, the wiring being as I posted above. It doesn't matter whether...

    Bose Amplifier Wiring

I did respond to a comment that you had made a month ago before this one - "If you have the Bose system, the head unit sends out low level output (~4V preouts). The wires should be (+,-) LF: Yellow, Brown - Pin 2, 3 RF: Green, Red - Pin 11, 12 LR: Pink, Blue - Pin 4, 5 RR: Brown, Yellow - Pin...

    Leaf Oregon road trip

Last summer I travelled to the Oregon coast to experience the real life locations that inspired a video game that means a whole lot to me, Life is Strange. Being Oregon I knew that I had to rent an EV and check out what it's like to drive one there compared to oil-county Alberta, and took the...

    Official Hyundai Ioniq 5 topic

I mean the Taycan has an option where the car itself can limit charging speed to 200kW, even if you use a 350kW charger.

Findings with my new 2022 SV Plus and Carplay and Crackling sounds

This is a known issue with CarPlay on the Leaf, to my knowledge there's yet to be any actual fix found.

Hello all! An odd dream car - Tuner LEAF from Alberta Canada

Hey everyone! Been on the forum for a little bit but noticed that I never got around to an intro post. Back in 2011, my twelve year old self really didn't know anything about cars, I did like racing games more than most others but didn't play games much as a whole. My dad took me to the local...

    Dolly towing a 2022 SV+ LEAF

The Leaf is 100% dolly towable. The rear wheels are just free spinning, so as long as the fronts are off the ground and the parking brake is OFF, pull it as much as you like.

    Official Hyundai Ioniq 5 topic

At least the Taycan does give you the option of setting it to slower DCFC speeds (capping the maximum to only 200kW), which the option subtitle itself claims to "optimize" the life of the battery. AFAIK the I5/EV6 don't have this option.

Leaf gen1 2012 not charges more than 83-86%

Leaf Spy shows the true battery SOC. Because there is a top buffer, the car will never charge the battery to true 100% (4.2v/cell). As long as the car itself shows that it's charging to full (all the big bars on the right side) then you're good.
