Charging to more than 80% on the road

All QCs that I used, would charge to 99% when after first session you would immediately start a new session. Note that charging speed then is much lower and it can take even extra 30 minutes for that charge. I'm based in Europe so this might not work in US.

Service and battery usage report cost in Europe.

195 Euro for "big" inspection with break fluid change.

    Ireland

I'm from Galway region and I saw 2-3 LEAFs (or maybe more as I count by colors) around.

Service and battery usage report cost in Europe.

I think service costs are around 80-120 Euro in Ireland, if you need exact price I will be doing my third one very soon so I can PM you scan of invoice.

Heater does not come on if temperature set to 16

It would be terrible if they fixed that, as that is only way to keep ventilation on but without associated heater consumption. In Irish climate that feature makes it possible for me to use LEAF all year for longer distances.

    Climate control Fogs up car!

I have same problem in climate where A/C is not used due to coldness, hence I think it might not be A/C reason for humidity. I solved my issues by keeping in car some dehumidifiers.

    Fast charger port wear

To clarify, it does click on insertion and behaves as usual but it still can be removed without pressing button. It is either connector broken or something with my car, I was not able to see damage on either.

    Fast charger port wear

Recently I arrived for my portion of DC and I noticed that charger was broken. I contacted provider in Ireland and today they arrived to fix it and they told me it was because LEAF that dealership uses as demo has a broken port and connector fell off causing charger to hangup. They tried with...

    Why Leaf?

If you circumstances allow for using LEAF, then it is way nicer car to drive. If you are in Europe and can wait then Renault Zoe could be a decent car.

Using OBDLink SX to Log the LEAF's CAN buses

I ordered on eBay something like this product: http://www.amazon.com/OBDII-Splitter-J1962M-2-J1962F-145802/dp/B000TMCX72" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I could then avoid making changes to USB cable, just rewire one socket for EV CAN and I guess some time in future other one for...

    eco mode

When you take your foot from pedal on D, car would roll much further than in Eco. That means your car kinetic energy is used to move car and not converted with losses into chemical energy, where again it will be converted with losses to move your car. D is best to move car, and Eco is best to...

    eco mode

Give a try to D mode, it does offer much better range than Eco.

    Official Mitsubishi i-MiEV Thread

It also shows priority for American customers, as car with worse economy, shorter range and longer charging time wins. When Ghosn announced that they entertain even shorter range LEAF, I was shocked but it seems way to go.
