    Thanks Dhanson865 and all the others... that is a lot of info to consider... We are in San Diego so moderate temps.... we try not to charge the car in the sun... Everything I have read says if you want your batteries to last a long time then use the 80/20 rule... don't charge past 80% nor...

    Hi, Well I just purchased a 2014 Leaf, love it so far but only had it a few days... I have been looking everywhere for how to set it to the long life batter mode where it will only charge the batteries to 80%... It appears this feature is on the 2013's and the 2015's but it doesn't show up...

    Thanks Rondawg and cwerdna, I bot a 2014 SV model that also has the Quick Charge outlet as well as the trickle charge outlet (I know I am butchering the terminology here... an EV Newbie :-) ) So I guess that means I have the higher 6.6kw charging capacity ???? I was leaning towards Clipper...

    Hi everyone, Could I get some thoughts on what folks think is the best L2 home charger (220V) ? My box can handle up to 50 amps but I guess the LEAF can't take that kind of charge, no ? What Brand would best for the Leaf ? Many Thanks

    Thank You, Thank You and Thank You... So many great posts and I really appreciate your thoughts... I live in the San Diego area (PQ) so very low temps will not be a problem (nor very high temps either as I only live about 9 miles from the coast)... Sounds like I need to look at a 2013+...

    Hi, as the newest member of this forum I hope I can ask some dumb questions... I am contemplating purchasing a 2012 LEAF with only 13k miles on it for $15k + 8% tax vs leasing/buying a new one... Normally a car with only 13k miles would be new in my mind, but after doing some research here...
