I have been a leaf and volt driver for a few years. I am curious as to why isn't the EVSE built into the car (kinda like a vacuum cleaner where you just pull the cord out and plug it in). I am sure there is a good reason since none of the cars do that, but I haven't figured out why. Anyone know?

Thanks x10guy and OldMike. Most dealers I called did not have the car in stock or were demanding a much higher price. There is only one dealer who agreed to this price, so I am assuming there is not much inventory. I will try and push some more. Great advice on going for a 36 month lease...

Hi everyone, I am getting a deal to lease a SL for 2600 drive off and 199+ tax for a 39 month lease and 15K per year mileage. It sounds like a good deal but wanted to check with some of the more experienced people here. Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated. This is in northern california...
