I must have a CD Player for my 2018 Leaf SV

Thanks to Learjet for their pleasant review of Salem. Salem isn't Disneyworld, but Disneyworld isn't Disneyworld any more, either. Anyhow, I finally jumped in and used Windows Media Player to rip several Mannheim Steamroller Music CD's to a USB Flash Drive. It worked perfectly. I am happy I...

I must have a CD Player for my 2018 Leaf SV

I just tried to convert and copy a CD to a Flash Drive using Windows 10 Media Player. It is way dark and way cold in Salem, Massachusetts right now (just like most of the USA). So I will see if the Leaf will play it tomorrow.

I must have a CD Player for my 2018 Leaf SV

Ok, like so many newer vehicles, my 2018 Nissan Leaf SV lacks a CD Player. I find playing podcasts or music from my Android Smartphone very inconvenient, and dangerous while driving. A simple auxiliary CD playing, that is powered by USB, and uses Android Aution would be ideal. But here is a...

I must have a CD Player for my 2018 Leaf SV

I suppose I could buy a bunch of cheap, low capacity USB Drives, and copy a single Album onto each. And write, with a very fine sharpie, the name on each. Might as well try this with a USB DRive with one Album, and see.

I must have a CD Player for my 2018 Leaf SV

That actually sounds fine, and I have not tried it. But some members have found choosing the music to be played difficult. Or that is what I believe they are saying.

Mounting accessories on Dashboard ? AirBag ?

I am very aware that mounting anything on the Air Bag covers is a very bad idea. BUT.... Is the horizontal surface directly underneath the Windshield a safe place ? Is there an AirBag there ?

I must have a CD Player for my 2018 Leaf SV

Yes, I know everyone will tell me to use my Android phone. But it is so inconvenient, and frankly, dangerous to use as I drive. Plus, I would have to stream my old CD's to a computer, and them somehow add them to my phone. Too much work. I WANT: A stand-alone CD Player that will interface...

Changing out the 12V battery in a 2018 Leaf: any gotchas?

2018 Leaf It is clear my original battery was replaced. The dealership ran a comprehensive test and my battery is fine. The solution is to trickle charge every few days with...

Changing out the 12V battery in a 2018 Leaf: any gotchas?

I want to fit the largest 12V Battery I can in my 2018 Series 2 Leaf. I need to know: The ID of that largest battery. The P/N of the large Battery Hold Down Bracket I would need.

    2018 SL with 45K miles for 20K

No way you want 1st gen. 2nd gen 2018 or later is a must. Also, SV or SL is a must. 2018 SL with 45K miles for 20K is not a great bargain, but if otherwise it is a clean car I would definitely consider it. I bought a 2018 SV with 14K miles for $15K on Feb 1st, and am thoroughly pleased. In...

    The 40KWH Battery Topic

Although I never tailgate, stop for yellow lights, stop at every stop sign, often let other drivers into the flow when I can, and rarely use the Leaf's actual brake, when it comes to accelerating and highway speeds I am agressive. I love the torque the motor can deliver, and enjoy the total...

VSP inoperative / Icon missing - 2018 Nissan Leaf SV

Thanks alozzy I am still under warranty, tho I do own a dongle. I'm scheduled to visit the Dealership Monday, and will likely order them to make the VSP as loud as possible. I've nearly run over drunken stumblers in the past (not with the Leaf), and that is something I wish to avoid.

VSP inoperative / Icon missing - 2018 Nissan Leaf SV

I have been slowly making my way through the Owner's Manual, and encountered a a section on the Vehicle Sound for Pedestrians, or VSP. It states the VSP can never be lowered in volume, but can be increased by the Dealer Service Department. My Backup beep-beep-beep works fine, but the vehicle...

    The 40KWH Battery Topic
