I have a 2012 Leaf. I bought it used in September of 2016. I still have 12 bars and the GOM reads 75 miles avg (full charge) at 47K. Based on what I've read, I should have less life in my battery if it is the original. How can I tell if this car has a replacement battery? Thanx

I think it'll come down to supply and demand. It there is a reasonable profit to be made, someone will do it. Perhaps even manufacturers outside the auto industry.
My wife had a similar issue. I checked things before she unplugged. The plug was in, but not "clicked." She just didn't push it in far enough.
Now that she knows how it feels when clicked, all is well.
I'm fairly new to this EV life. I have a 2012 Leaf w/ a QC female plug and the regular plug. I joined Charge Point (don't know much about it). I've looked at QC locations, and they seem to be "members only".
How many clubs do I need to join? I do about 80% of my charging on Lev 1 at home...
I'm in Sparrows Point (Baltimore County). I bought a 2012 Leaf w/ 12 bars. I've been using it for about 6 weeks, and loving it. I haven't used a public charger yet. I level 1 at work and home.
This forum has been very helpful.
I bought a beautiful 2012 Leaf w/ 12 bars about two months ago - my first EV. These cars are amazing. Subsidies can't make or break something that is worthy and solid. EVs will move on as people learn just as I did. I don't need government money to survive, and neither do EVs.
About 6 weeks ago I purchased a 2012 Leaf. I've studied EV plenty since then, and it looks like I have more than usual battery life. After a charge, I have between 73 - 83 miles on the GOM when I start out. It always shows 12 bars after a charge. Is this more than usual?
