Final follow up. I got my Leaf with new battery back today, and turned the loaner "rental" car back in. Zero cost to me for anything.
Only took about two weeks, which was a pleasant surprise given much of the US experienced an Arctic blast for about half of that time.
I asked about the new...
Next follow up. Nissan provided a new no cost loner (ice) Nissan Kicks car while I wait weeks to months for the battery. My service rep reports that Nissan USA is currently releasing about 500 batteries nationwide for warranty replacements. My service department continues to be very supportive.
Follow up to my earlier post: I brought my Leaf back to the dealer because the battery issues had gotten worse. Our local Nissan dealer was able to confirm and has started dealing with Nissan USA. Multiple cells are bad and Nissan USA has approved an entire new battery. I'll post a follow up...
Having the same issue on my 2020 SV (40kw) with 50k miles. It happens when the battery is around or below 50% charge, I am driving at 50+ mph, and especially when on my daily commute 400 ft elevation incline.
I recorded it on my phone and brought the car to the dealer. Fluctuation was about...
2013 with 72k miles in Portland, OR. Owned since new. Haven't lost any bars and would guestimate that the battery is about at 95%. Battery performance below freezing has gotten a bit worse.

Kind of related question: What battery temp offers the longest range? For me it seems that I have the longest range with 5 bars and about 60 degrees outside temp. 6 bars is also not bad - not sure I've ever noticed more than 6 bars...
How about you?

I would keep calling NMAC, like once a week and perhaps especially near the end of the month. Their offers have changed wildly over the last 6 months, and might again! Good Luck.
In the end we bought the car with NO extended warranty. Life on the edge!
The dealer kept jerking us around on extended warranty price and coverage - a time consuming PITA - really just trying to increase their profits. Most dealers are such LOW people, barely above thieves. How they live...
I asked about significant damage to our clear coat caused by fruit dropped from trees baking on the roof. This was sight unseen on the phone. They said probably ok. There is no other damage/issues for them to find on our car.
I suspect the point is that they make $1100 for a 1 hour...
End of Lease Financing:
I called the dealer who says:
They can provide 0% financing (for those with good credit) on leased Leaf purchases IF the car can meet the Certified Used Criteria, which he assured me most do.
Good News: The financing would include an extended "bumper to bumper"...
I just received the same $8k incentive offer on our 2013 S, 30k miles, as described in this thread That will bring our total outlay for the car to about $13k. I think we will bite.
The 8K offer is good thru September 6th, and our lease ends on the 15th.
Just need to firm up an extended...
