I have read in some forums that you can apply for HOV white sticker while waiting for registration plates to come through. People have used two methods to achieve this:
1. Leave the license plate entry blank, and the DMV will figure it out from the VIN number.
2. Call up the DMV and get your...
Hi,
So I have just leased a Leaf - S in the SF bay area and was given a EZ-Charge card by the dealer. I have setup an EZ-Charge card and linked my account with Chargpoint, Blink and NRG eVGO. I am not quiet of the interoperability of EZ-Charge with Chargepoint. I know that Chargepoint has pulled...
Given the OP's daily commute needs and the fact that they're leasing not buying, Either car will work. The heat pump (available SV/SL only) is nice here in the Bay Area, because our mild winters mean you will never need to use the resistive heater that sucks up range. If you had a longer...
So true. I made it clear to them that I didnt care about the maintenance package. I receive a call from them half an hour later that someone came to test drive it and have decided to buy it.
Thanks for the replies, and obviously I meant 40-50F. Sorry about the typo.
The deal is a VPP deal with $2500 down including all DMV fees and driveoffs for 36 months,12000 miles/year. I have just hear back from another dealer and he is offering me a 2014 SL+ prem for 217 + tax with these lease...
Hmm. I was trying to get him to budge to 230/mo yesterday but he wouldn't. I would try again today. I am assuming 240/mo + tax is not a bad deal on the SL. Sometimes you are never sure about pricing when there are only a few left in the market.
Thanks for the replies. I stay in Bay Area.
I didn't know that the heat pump was not available on 2014 S. How badly does the resistance heater impact the range during the winters, when the temperature drops to 40-50C.
I think the 2015 S has a cruise control built in, so that is not a factor...
Hi,
I am in California and have a choice of leasing a 14 SL+Prem for $240/mo + tax or a 15 S+QC for $190/mo + taxes. All other terms of the lease remain the same.
My head wants to go for the S, but the heart is pushing me towards the SL. Which one do you think is a better deal. With the SL, I...
Guys,
Thanks for the help with the original question, and tips on workplace charging etiquette. When I was posting the question, I was considering a discounted 2014 SV, and had a choice of with and without QC. Things have changed now, as there are no 2014s left in my market (SF Bay Area). I plan...
Thanks for the replies. I contacted every dealer from Petaluma to Modesto. There are very few 2014 S + QCs left. For some reason the dealers that have the 2014 S=QC are leasing them at more expensive than some of the dealers leasing 2015 S+QC.
I was also told by a dealer that Nissan will...
Thanks for the reply. Yes, I was talking of buying the QC option on the car. I will not be a hog at work. The office charging rate if 50c/hour for 3 hours and then 5dollars/hour after that :)
Hi,
I am considering leasing a leaf and plan to charge it on a L2 charger at work (40 miles roundtrip commute), and might install a L2 charger at home. I was wondering if there is any point in going for a quick charge option. I believe the Leaf can be charged from 0-80% in 30 minutes, but where...
Hi,
I am planning to lease a 2014 Leaf S(quick charge) or SV. I want a 12K/yr lease for 36 months. I was wondering what the best rate seen in the bay area is for this car recently. I want to close the deal over the weekend.
