    Buy This Car?

Uh oh! The climb is about three miles and gains the full 2000 ft. I do it in 2nd and 3rd gear in my bimmer. It's not good to hold up traffic. Am I blowing it to get the used Leaf?

    Buy This Car?

Didn't get it! Going to buy the one with 11 bars. Will need to drive 30 miles with about 3000 climb. Will we make it? Can charge there.

    Buy This Car?

Just offered $8500 for the 77k car. Otherwise clean and the glacier white we want. It's actually showing 10 bars and we can see if we can get by with the battery in its current (pun) condition.

    Buy This Car?

Hmmm, you've got me thinking. We found a very high mileage car (77K) that I could make an offer on and plan to get the new battery. We were leaning toward the other car because this one is virtually out of warranty.

    Buy This Car?

OK, we may have found the used Leaf we can live with. 11 capacity bars showing on a 2011 SL with 26K miles. Southern California car. They are asking $13,549. 11 bars for a 2011 - is this pretty good? Should we expect to find one with 12 bars?

    Understanding the fuel gauge

Thanks mctom! Btw, I saw in a photo that the capacity bars had a line encircling them. On the cars I've seen that line is gone. Does it go away?

    Understanding the fuel gauge

On the fuel gauge, there are two sets of bars. The bars on the right are little white or red bars and the bars on the left are large white and blue bars. It would appear that the white and blue bars are the state of charge. The smaller white and red bars on the far right appear to be reference...

Contemplating Leaf lease; want to be sure covered all bases!

Hi, Newbie here. I'm wondering why anyone puts in a wall charger when you can get a variety of chargers like the turbo cord and just plug it into your new 240V wall socket and take it with you if you're going somewhere with a 240V plug

concerned about range on used 2011 Leaf

Thanks, Tleaf. I'm also looking at 2011's and would like a good way to discern whether a used car is worth pursuing. A question that I still have after seeing your reply about 12 bars showing is this: What if 11 bars are showing. 10? Are we down in the 50 mile range at that point? We have...
