I have a 2A battery charger. I attach it while the car is charging. Damndest thing is, when the battery is out of the car, it will complete a charge in a few hours. When the battery is IN the car, the charger goes on forever. I wonder if the leaf is fooling the charger into thinking the battery...

You external conduit idea is brilliant and beautiful. Did you need to hire out when integrating to the main breaker? Also, how much did all of the conduit tubing cost? Where did you decide to acquire the cables?
I have a 2013 S. No OBD2 attachment. I suffered dead 12v after roughly 18 hours of sitting unplugged. The factory 12v battery had spewed sulfuric acid all over the place. I pulled it. Baking soda and a hose handled that. I dropped in an AGM deep cycle battery for $90. problem has not returned...
