The 2013 has the headlight levelling control deleted so there might be a difference. I was a initially disappointed but realized I forgot it was there in my old 2012 after the first time playing with it.
I do wish they kept the side turn signals, though they're not mandated I think they should...
I bought a 2012 at the beginning of December for a fantastic price for the short time Nissan was discounting them 10k off list. I was thrilled to finally own an EV and loved driving electric though as a vehicle I found it wanting in a number of areas. Nearly all those issues were addressed in...
I brought home our leased silver 2013 SL with premium pkg and wow, it's a great improvement over the 2012 I traded in. Better handling, steering feel, seat comfort, climate control and the faster charging is great. The batteries feel like they're less sensitive to cold weather but i will hold...
Compared to the system in my 2012 it definitely has more presence and bass. I turn up the stereo now whereas I didn't bother before. My wife is going to love it, I'm sure. I'm assuming the standard 2013 system is the same as in the 12s.
I've heard audiophiles not caring much for Bose sound...
Funny, I just picked up an SL with a cloth rear bench...
JK, I don't think you have anything to worry about, Nissan will make this right as soon as they can. It's just so egregious a screw up they have to, especially now that its all over the interwebs.
I didn't put much credence into what he was saying as he was bolstering his claim with a story about an 11 that he knows of that didn't sell until a few weeks ago and then only at 11k. I found that hard to believe but I love a great story as much as the next guy so I nodded along.
One other...
Antwerpen Nissan in Clarksville, MD has a silver SL with premium package, I dropped by yesterday and the window sticker held no surprises for followers of this thread. The seats have a little more lumbar support but still not enough. Wow, is that interior black. Absolutely no contrasting...
Finally got my 2012 back last night after nearly 4 weeks in the shop. I put more miles on their loaner Leaf than I had put on mine. Heater works great now. Hopefully everyone with the same issue will be back on the road soon.
That Edmunds article is good reading, thanks for linking.
I wonder if the Leaf was hamstrung in this test by not being able to use the capacity under the bars. I don't know if there would be enough juice to match the 10 mile longer range of the Golf that ranked just ahead of it but it could...
I was told the ship would be in late last week and customs and distribution would take some undetermined length of time. I didn't hear the word delay at any point though. I haven't been told with a great amount of confidence that heaters are actually in this shipment, just that it has a lot of...
It might work intermittently shortly before it quits completely, IME.
If it turns out the heater needs to be replaced, try to find a dealer that has a LEAF loaner since it will probably be a while before the car is fixed. That way you won't have to pay for gas while still making payments on an...
I talked to LEAF customer service this morning and they said a new shipment of parts from Japan is due this coming week. Customs and distribution take a while and the job itself is about 2 days labor so I'm guessing it will be about 3 weeks before I'm back in my car. He was pretty familiar...
LeafLeafLeaf, when did this occur? Reading through some threads it seems the PTC is on perpetual back-order but eventually show up, if only weeks later.
