Any V2G or V2H charger available yet for US?

The response from Fermata was the current approved V2G is only for commercial installations. Regarding their V2H development for household use was: "We will have a residential system available in mid-2023 and will share details when available."

Any V2G or V2H charger available yet for US?

Waiting, waiting, waiting. I'll never get out of here. I'll die in Casablanca. I have been waiting for real v2h since 2011. Very disappointed with Nissan on this matter.

2018 LEAF S speedometer accuracy issues?

Yes, I have seen this problem. The speedometer on my 2018 LEAF is off by 6%. It appears this is due to my model having 16" wheels not the 17" wheels. Toyota dealership claims this is how the car is manufactured and can not be corrected. This has been reported under defects and under...

Please Report 2018 - 2020 Leaf Defects Here

A speedometer that is off by 6% is a design defect. I know it has been discussed elsewhere. I thought the purpose of this thread is to accumulate the 2018 LEAF defects regardless of whether the detect is a result in design or in manufacturing and regardless of whether it has been discussed...

Please Report 2018 - 2020 Leaf Defects Here

2018 LEAF Model S speedometer is off by approx 6%. I.e. when the speedometer says 50 MPH you are only going 47 MPH. The dealership says this is how all Models S behave.

    Cooling Leaf batteries with ice?

Dry ice or bottled CO2 in a closed space is a suffocation hazard and should never be done in a habitable closed space. if you don't believe: https://www.thenewstribune.com/news/local/crime/article215672680.html In some places in Europe such as a pubs which use CO2 charging bottle/tanks they...

2018 leaf analog speedometer . Whadayathink?

I don't care for the new analog speedometer. It just takes up space that could have been better used. My solution: Android phone with free digHUD speedometer app.

    Speedometer Reads 6% High

After talking to my local clueless dealer service (one person asked if I was bringing the car in for an oil change) it was clear that they had no idea what was happening. So I came up with a simple solution that solves 2 problems, speedometer accuracy and the missing large digital speedometer...

    Speedometer Reads 6% High

In the 's trim ' I just picked up it appears that this it is also off by about 6%. This appears to be the difference between having a 16" (S trim) tire versus a 17" tire (SL,SV trim). Odometer also appears off by same amount. So this may still be a problem. Checking with the dealer.

Solutions to 12 Volt Batteries and Chargers Posted Here

I have been watching this thread for a long time. I was wondering how long the factory original might last. My battery is the original (manufacture date of 3/2011). It has always been between 12.0V and 12.5V at the end of a day just before charging. I normally charge my car daily using L1. I...

My 5 years of LEAF ownership

There are many LEAF that are reaching the 5 year mark. What is your experience after 5 years? This is mine. I have now had my LEAF for 5 years. It is low mileage only 30K miles, I use it daily work commute (average 20 miles/day), groceries and around town errands. I live in a pretty mild...

Leaf Annual Battery Check vs. Carwings vs. LeafSpy?

While the annual battery check doesn't give you (the consumer) any useful information it does keep the battery warranty valid. LeafSpy gives the owner real data on the battery.
