    Leafs Over Texas!

I was unable to make it to the Leaf Reunion at Bankston last week, but apparently there are at least two silver LEAFs with Longhorn plates, as I was not at half price books recently.

    Leafs Over Texas!

Congrats mckemie! Enjoy! The estimated miles will vary depending on driving mode (ECO vs D) and what type of driving you are doing (stop and go city vs highway). If you are in Eco mode and are driving around on city streets at <35 mph, I've found that it stays pretty consistent and drops as...

Thank You Nissan! - Team Radioshack & the Tour of California

Sadly, no. They had two wrapped in blue and one in Radioshack team colors. The team color one stayed by the Nissan exhibit. There were a few others doing the circuits at Thousand Oaks - I'm guessing they were ride and drive units. Update request submitted. It was a great ending, I need to...

    Leafs Over Texas!

I just posted a new thread as I was a lucky boy last weekend. I won a Nissan LEAF contest on facebook to go to the Tour of California cycling race, if you see a guy with too much tour of california or Nissan cycling jersey's it's probably me. http://www.mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=4064...

Thank You Nissan! - Team Radioshack & the Tour of California

I was lucky enough to win a trip to the last weekend of the Tour of California bike race. Having both my LEAF and my bike in my submission photo likely helped a little. The trip was a real treat. I'm a huge cycling fan and Nissan did a great job of hosting me for the weekend. Chris Horner...

Pipcecil, Agreed that for your usage, this sounds like eVgo may be a great fit for you. Adric 22, I did go for the option. My hope is to one day be able to use the Leaf to make it to Austin, which means a Level 3 in Waco and some creative planning.

    Leafs Over Texas!

While not as historic as the halfway point of Route 66, I topped up a bit today at the Half Price Books on Northwest Hwy in Dallas. Unlike NRG's or Whole Food's "charging for charging" Half Price delivers Level 1 and 2 for Free, one of each in two designated spots. I'm hoping a lot more...

    April Deliveries

Depending on the nature of the fix--I honestly don't know--it might make financial sense and avoid potential headaches down the road to do it at the port. (More control, don't have to compensate the dealer). A finance guy at my dealer had no clue how the tax credit works, so extend that...

A few photos of Sparky from last night. If I get creative, I'll take some more around town. Jason, my wife picked Sparky when I first got the VIN last month. She's now calling it Buggy too because of the shape of the headlights. I ordered the Leaf despite her reservations on a number of...

    April Deliveries

It's very frustrating that we can't get any better information until the dealer calls us, and that a number of our 7 day emails have set false expectations on top of the website data fluctuating. But I for one am glad that Nissan is spending the time to resolve the AC issue before sending the...

    April Deliveries

Just took delivery in Dallas. 7 day email of 4/12 was inaccurate, but Week of 4/21 was spot on. I had been week of 4/8 briefly. Regardless, I wish everyone else who has been waiting a long time the best in receiving yours.

Sparky is home! Got to also love the fact that I left the dealer with 83 mile range in D mode, and after 9.5 miles of Eco mode driving I arrived home with 84 miles range in D mode (with 91 miles range in Eco mode.) Dang tolltag store closed for Easter.

Andy, I have a friend who's had a red one for about 5 weeks now. But no worries, I used the same term for him too.
