Hi Group, I resently saw a description on line of a leaf that said 10.5 seconds to go 0 to 60. This car they had must have had every bit of ECO turned on! Mine has much more pep than that. I would be suprized if it was even half, with ECO turnd off of course.

I agree 100%. I have my LEAF and my 08 Jetta, both silver. I wanted an electric car when you had to build your own, AND or pay thru the nose to have one. Then Nissan FINALLY put a reasonable if still a bit hi price on the LEAF. Thank you Nissan.

So far I have only been driving my Leaf in ECO mode. I have seen that the range drops 4 or 5 miles just turning eco mode off. Is it better to run in eco all the time, or should you shut it off under certain conditions, like hill climing?? Or would turning off eco mode be more for exiting...

Are any lights on on the trickle charger "box?" Yes, it say ready, but not charging The car did beep when I plugged in the connector, but I didn't see any dash lights flash at all. I did see the power cord picture on the dash as if it's asking to be charged up when I shut it down.

I see I can get an outdoor docking station from Lowes, or Home depot. Would I be better off looking online for a better deal? Or better unit. The 2 I looked at were GE models.
