    Problem installing Daytime running lights

Well, seems a lot of people from that thread connected the power directly to #57 wire and didn't report any problems http://www.mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=6134" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; It works so far so good, haven't had any issues. And from what I have read...

    Problem installing Daytime running lights

So it seems I finally solved my problem. Here's what I did. I checked that IGN (57) fuse really gives 12V only when the car is on, and is passive when the car is charging. Also I found out why I always had a I-key fault when working with fuse 57. I feel a little stupid, but the problem was not...

    Problem installing Daytime running lights

I have the red and black connected directly to the battery, the orange to the parking light wire (very close to the battery) and the blue to the PDM 57th IGN red wire. Have you connected your blue wire from the first time? I'm thinking if it might be a reason that I drove the car for couple of...

How To: Reverse Backup Camera for SV Model w/ OEM Telematics

My 2013 SV was missing the harness from the camera to the drivers kick side panel. So I put the original harness (from 2012 car) from the camera to the C pillar in the back of the car (since it was OEM, there was no problem with these), and from there some 5 different color cables to the drivers...

    Problem installing Daytime running lights

The blue wire in this philips box is supposed to be something like that, specially made for hybrid/electric/start-stop vehicles, where monitoring the 12V battery load is not enough to know when the vehicle is on and working. However even after connecting it to ignition fuse, I still get the...

    Problem installing Daytime running lights

Actually I am from Europe, but still contacted US consumer care and received an answer by email. They even suggested to contact them again if I have some additional questions :) I mounted the controller in the very front, under the removable plastic cover. There was a second flat plastic conver...

    Problem installing Daytime running lights

Ok, thanks for the update. I also received a reply from Philips, that the blue wire to the 57 should solve these issues. Have also plugged the car, the lights went on, and went to watch a movie. When I came back to check, the charge was complete so the lights were off too. So still I cannot...

    Problem installing Daytime running lights

Thanks, I will be waiting for your results when charging. Yes I drilled a small hole inside the PDM, which was marked in a way as if exactly for that purpose. On the left side of the PDM there is already a nice hole for the cable. Here is the close-up.

    Problem installing Daytime running lights

Ok, so I connected the blue wire back again where I did it first - in the 57th fuse wire of the PDM. Last time, however I immediately got an "Intelligent key error" and the car was blocked withouth READY to drive sign. Back then I had to reset the car's computer from errors to be able to turn...

    Problem installing Daytime running lights

Some updates: I tried some other places and fuses for the red wire. I tried the fuse box to the left of the battery. Both 1st (DTLR) and 2nd (Audio amp) fuse gave power while charging. So seems they also don't fit my requirements. Are there any fuses under the hood, which don't get power when...

    Problem installing Daytime running lights

By the way, lion, I noticed that after connecting the blue wire to #72, the LEDs keep on for about a minute or even more after I turn off the vehicle. When philips was connected only to the battery it did shut off ~30 seconds after turning off the vehicle. Can you check how long your LEDs are...

    Problem installing Daytime running lights

Yes, still having one problem. The lights are on all the time when I charge the Leaf, so it's a waste of LEDs lifetime during the night in the garage. I counted that this way they will not last me more than two years. So I really need to find how to solve this problem. I have connected red and...

    Problem installing Daytime running lights

Need some more help! I connected the blue cable to the #72, as shown above, but the only big difference it made was that lights didn't go off after turning off the vehicle much longer - more than a minute. The worst thing is that it still turns on while charging. I thought maybe my blue wire...

    Problem installing Daytime running lights

Hi, does the power come to this third fuse? From the Manual it's number 72, right?

    Problem installing Daytime running lights

I tried to connect the blue wire to the #57 in the Power Distribution Module (PDM), as written in this topic http://www.mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=6134" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; However I got an Intelligent key error, and the car lost it's ready to drive status...
