Has anyone received their free Juicebox under that program?

Thank you for letting me know. I have already signed up with Ohmconnect but haven't heard anything yet. Are you a SCE customer?

Has anyone received their free Juicebox under that program?

Just wondering if anyone has received their free juicebox from emotorwerks. We sent in our application several weeks ago and are still waiting for notification from them as to whether we are going to get it or not. I am wondering if it is a scam to harvest personal information of ev leaf...

Need a recommendation for an EVSE

Based on their recommendations, I did exactly what they asked me to do in terms of installing the outlet. They wanted 14-50 outlet and Installed one with that specification. I can wait until they let me know, but I wish there was a time certain deadline that I can look forward to.

Need a recommendation for an EVSE

Yes, I have applied for it as I am in SCE territory. They keep on pushing the date for "giving" them away, and that concerns me.

Need a recommendation for an EVSE

Thanks for your suggestions. A couple of points: Schneider EV says it is for 30Amps. Shouldn't I go for one which charges at 40Amps since I have a 50 Amp circuit breaker? Second, what plug do I need? Or are you referring to an adapter that will fit into my existing 14-50 outlet? thanks for...

Need a recommendation for an EVSE

Hi I am a new user of a 2015 Nissan Leaf, model S with QC. I just installed a 240 V outlet with a 50 Amp circuit breaker, gauge 6 cables, and a NEMA 14-50 outlet in garage. Given that, I went on Nissan Leaf Wiki, and searched for EVSEs compatible for my setup. There were only 2 listed, one by EV...

Newbie question re: charging at home with L2 under $ 200?

Another dumb/newbie question: What would happen if i were to use the above 2 items (Leviton cable and CAMCO plug) and charge my 2015 Nissan Leaf? In other words, why do I need a EVSE if I can charge the leaf directly through the 220v outlet?

Newbie question re: charging at home with L2 under $ 200?

Wow. Seems like an expensive way to L2 charge at home. Are there any inexpensive options available, other than evseupgrade.com ?

Newbie question re: charging at home with L2 under $ 200?

I just leased a new 2015 leaf model s with QC. I just installed a 220v outlet with NEMA 14-50 plug. I am considering purchasing the following: Leviton A2034-PEV 30-Amp Level 1 Electric Vehicle Charge Connector with 20-Feet Cord It is available at Amaxon for $ 166. The title says L1 but the...

Need a Recommendation for Electrician (LA/OC/SB based)

First, I get my electricity from Southern California Edison (I don't know if that makes a difference). I live in Rancho Palos Verdes (zip code: 90275) and work in Torrance. Thanks for all your help.

Need a Recommendation for Electrician (LA/OC/SB based)

Do any of Los Angeles based (including OC, SB) Leaf owners know of a reasonably priced and EV-savvy electrician? I am looking to install a 240V outlet in my garage. The cable will be pulled from the main panel which is a distance of 85 feet from the garage, and will probably go underground...

    Insurance on 2015 Nissan leaf

Hi Do you mind sharing with us the results of your research on insurance companies? I have state farm and I understand that Farmer's Insurance gives a discount of 5 % for electric vehicles. I am not sure of discounts from others. Thanks

    Insurance on 2015 Nissan leaf

Have you guys factored in the increased insurance premium when buying or leasing a Nissan Leaf? I was shocked to learn that the new leaf has a higher insurance than ICE. What has been your experience with insurance so far?
