That's grim news. The extra capacity is no good if you can't access it. Looks like a lot of the 30kwh cell capacity could exist below the turtle mode threshold voltage of a 2012 BMS?

Not expecting simple, would settle for achievable. Probably just a pipe dream, so hard to access the affordable higher capacity modules from down under, feels like I'm on another planet some days. Someone is bound to give it a shot though.

I'm puzzled by some of the technical aspects of a battery upgrade;
1) The after market pack from hybrid auto that sits in the rear parcel area & charges from the onboard charger via its own BMS apparently works.
2) Some folks are claiming however that a replacement higher capacity pack won't...
Just wondering what's the lowest cell voltage seen with a LeafSpy for a pack that has gone into Turtle mode? Flicking through the various LeafSpy threads 3.4v is the lowest I've seen so far.
