Um, okay dude. The Comma AI system is far superior to the Honda and Toyota packages that come FROM THE FACTORY in EVERY new model. Things like Radar and emergency braking is a GOOD thing. The only part I'd do is translate the "steer left" and "steer right" commands.
Have you need seen the...
Thanks guys! I'm planning on it being a long, long term project but since I love the Leaf and don't want to have to decide between the Leaf and an assisted-driving vehicle I think it's worth the effort.
In theory, if the Leaf accepts control electronically (and doesn't have crazy encryption or...
I have OBSESSED about self driving since I first heard about it a decade ago and have wanted one ever since. I have found my way to follow Comma AI which has Open Source code to use AI and the rear camera for processing as well as the front camera to monitor your head movement similar to the way...
I realize that this is an old thread, but I wanted to chirp in too that I've been obsessed with self-driving cars since I first heard about them (probably a decade ago LOL) and would do just about anything to get the OpenPilot system going on the first gen Leaf. I've started using Chffr to...
Unfortunately, UserName isn't always passed, so I can't use that. VIN is the route to go as I can use that to determine Year, plus potentially identify build dates and/or recall other information based on VIN. I may eventually have to where it shows something other than the last digits of the VIN.
Well, I need the full VIN for identification purposes, but you can certainly prevent it from sending over location information. Not much private stuff available: basic battery stuff and odometer. You can see them listed in the Help file of Leaf Spy.
Sorry I missed that. Yeah, please email it to me (ideally in a spreadsheet/delimited form if you have it like that) at [email protected] and I'll get that data imported. Thanks!!
I've replied to your original post. Straightforward as Leaf Spy just posts the values as querystring variables. Check out the documentation in the Help portion of the Leaf Spy app.
Luckily, it's pretty straightforward as it's just a REST URL request with all parameters passed as parameters in the query string. Using PHP, I just had it write out all parameters to a text file and went from there. LeafSpy has a whole ton of documentation in the "Help" part of the app...
Hi, actually, you've been sending in data (thanks very much) and is reflected in your total miles for October. The way I currently have the stats show is that it shows only unique Amp Hrs, so you only see it when it changes. That way, you don't see excessive identical points. You are holding...
