    Hit the battery lottery!

No, I didn’t leave the battery charged to 100% for a year. When I am not driving it I leave it at around 60%. I only ever charge it to 100% if I am going to drive it within 24 hours of fully charging it.

    Hit the battery lottery!

Up to 62,605 miles now and the SOH is now 84.83% but first bar hasn’t dropped yet. Guessing it will any day now. Only put 100 miles on it in the last year since I have been working at home.

    Hit the battery lottery!

Battery replaced at 28,685 miles in October 2016. Have 42,012 miles now 18 months later and SOH is only down to 96%. The new battery is holding up really great. John

Newest Enphase M-series inverters report jagged production curves

So from the public page you can monitor and see when a micro inverter fails? Feel free to add mine. It’s a brand new system. John

How do I export the log from LeafSpy Pro?

It has an option to use Dropbox and I use that. I can see my logs from any pc at that point by checking the files in Dropbox. John

Replaced Battery. Lost 1 AHr + 72% SOH in a week and 2 charges

That's odd. I has my 2012 SL battery replaced in October 2016 and when I dropped it off it was 62% SOH and when I picked it up it was at 100% SOH. Now about 5500 miles later it's still at 100%. Don't understand why you didn't bump up as soon as it was replaced. John

    Nissan Battery Replacement Program, Cost

Had my battery replaced in my 2012 Leaf on October 27 2016. At that time car had 29,450 mikes on it and new battery was reporting 100% SOH. Now I have 35,590 mikes on it and it's August 7 2017 and still shows 100% SOH. I didn't buy this car New so was wondering how long other people that...

How many 2011 and 2012 LEAFs are still on the road today?

I also have a 2012 and wondering what was wrong with your AC? How many miles on yours? Mine is 33k miles and so far nothing has ever broken on the car. John

How many 2011 and 2012 LEAFs are still on the road today?

My 2012 is going strong. Got the new battery last November under warranty and still shows 100% health in Leaf spy. Plan on keeping it at least 5 more years. Drive to work is 20 miles each way but have a free level 2 charger at work so makes it really cheap to drive for work. :)

Test Driving 2011 SL - Warranty Confusion at 8 Bars

transmission Fluid? The Leaf doesn't have a transmission. It has a reduction get set. I don't think it's due to have its oil changed for over 100,000 miles or some other amount. Look it up in your owners manual but with as few mikes as you have it isn't due. John

    Charging timer question

I personally like using the charger so I can just charge to 80%. I don't need more and heard the battery will last much longer if not fully charged and let sit for prolonged time like over the weekend. John

Test Driving 2011 SL - Warranty Confusion at 8 Bars

It even showed it was still under warranty on the battery report. I have a 2012 that hit 8 bars and told my local Nissan dealership to replace it and they contacted Corporate and it was approved and done about 5 weeks later. Battery had to be ordered. John

New battery in 1 wk from diagnose to install, a record?

I got 276 gids the first morning after I got my new battery a few days ago. SOC was 92.1%. After that I have only been charging it to 80% since I don't need anymore than 30 or so miles a day. If I were to let it charge to 100% each night would it ever show 100 SOC? SOH is 100% on the new...

    Hit the battery lottery!

They got it done. Neat to have SOH show 100% on Leaf Spy and have all 12 bars. Took them almost 4 days but I found out what took so long. The new covers Nissan sent where not the correct ones. Seems when they replace the battery they replace the covers. Took some time for Nissan to get the...

    Hit the battery lottery!

Dropped the car off Sunday night with the night drop box. So far the dealer has had the car two full days and still not don't replacing battery. How many days is normal for them to take? I am guessing they just tinker on it during the day whenever they have time? John
