We are selling our Nissan Leaf only because we are moving. We bought it new and love it! It hasn't suffered any noticeable degradation. I will post pictures once I can figure out how. If anyone has any questions just ask. It seems to have 244-246 GIDs on a full charge. I still have the...
Do any of you know if the HyVee ChaDeMO charger in St. Joseph operational yet? I've tried it with the Tesla adapter and it continually gives me an error. It starts for 5 seconds then stops and spits the error out. We've used one in Kansas City and it works there so not the car.
It's been awhile since I've posted here but the wife and I got a Tesla last November and have been having quite a bit of fun with it. I was beginning to agree with you CRLeafSL but electric cars will get better and I guarantee that this 60-70 miles of "rated" range will be a thing of the past...
Agent was very little help. They didn't know if it would raise our rates our not. It would be on our record as a not at fault accident but the agent said that has to go through underwriting and he doesn't know what the result would be. Just talked to the wife who talked to the head of...
After a day of fuming I am finally calm enough to post this. My wife drives the Leaf to work every day now because her commute is longer 60-65 miles roundtrip. So 2 nights ago while she was working someone hit the car in the parking lot. Where she works at has cameras and we are waiting for...
Last year I leased a Nissan Leaf from a dealership. I bought it outright in early December last year. I had to wait for the county to receive the paperwork from the dealership. They got it either the last week of the year or first week of this year. I updated the registration early January...
$6,000 for a replacement battery but what if I kept my old battery and installed it along side the original? I know ingineer had something similar to this. Is this possible? Has anyone thought of trying this?
I know others will disagree with this but I tell people to count on being able to drive 50 miles year round. I believe this compensates for the cold and climate control. You should get much more than that outside of winter but 50 or less miles per charge is safe over 50 is risky.
Only 25K on a 2 year old leaf...Com'on now I got that 25k+ on mine an its only 1 year and 3 months old...you need to drive more  . You could have made it to clinton....if you were willing to charge to 80 in Lee Summit and drive 50mph the entire way or 100 and drive 55mph-60mph I'd be...
 Tesla is going to be the wife's car when we get it and it will replace both of our ICE cars. This household will be full electric...minus the oven and furnace  .
