    Towable Turbine Powered CHAdeMO Charger

I bought the cable assembly from the Nissan dealer, kept the original so I could easily restore the car when I sold it (glad I did).

    Towable Turbine Powered CHAdeMO Charger

This is a lot of engineering work. Sorry, but I didn't document my findings in a way I could easily provide. I just don't have the time these days for a one-off project like this, Sorry!

    Towable Turbine Powered CHAdeMO Charger

I tapped the cable from pack to inverter, so that way it was easily removable.

A peek at the Leaf's Charger

No, I didn't release an open source version, and it depends on the Nissan charger for logic, just by adding a 3.4kW boost.

    Official Tesla Model 3 thread

I purchased a 3 for an engineering evaluation, and now I'm selling it. It's listed on Ebay, as new except for around 250 test miles. Pristine inside and out. Even did the aero hub cap test, and it does improve range by about 3%. https://www.ebay.com/itm/192448376705

    Measuring the EMF

100mG = huge?!? You could say "relatively", but that's about all. To me, relative field strength means nothing without a frequency analysis. Higher (much higher; ~microwave) frequencies do have somewhat measurable effects on biology. We can't really observe any low frequency effects, at...

    Lightning Strike saga

I agree, I've seen lots and lots of lightning damage with no blown circuit protection. Usually the only time a fuse or breaker will blow after a strike is if it shorts the diodes or transistors (IGBTs/MOSFETs) as a secondary effect. I have 2 LEAF chargers that were blown by lightning hits. It...

    ammeter accuracy - LEAF charging

Yes, the EVSE just informs the car the MAX that it can draw. It's up to the car's on-board charger to do the rest. We've conducted lab tests with many EV's and we find that most will draw within an amp of the pilot providing the car's charge state and charger capability allows for it. During...

    charging on generator

It's not just "EU". It's for charging on isolated grounds. Yes TWO resistors, whether 120 or 240.

    charging on generator

    Yes, it's the safest configuration.

    What is a "Gid"?

    75 watt-hours to be correct.

EVSE upgrade always defaults to 16 amps after unplugging

Please give us a call at (509)651-8000. We are a small company, so be patient if we don't answer your call right away, we have limited staff for phone calls, and we often have a lot of calls from new EV owners with questions! There is a known issue on some units with the EEPROM not storing...

    Saying goodbye to my LEAF!

We're still going to be doing EVSEupgrade. It's a great option to have for new LEAF owners, if only as a backup should their other solution fail. Though there may also be some other new products in our future for all EV's!

    Saying goodbye to my LEAF!

I'm selling mine with it in, as long as the new owner wants it.

    Saying goodbye to my LEAF!

I too am in the 70D club, about the same time Tony got his. It's about 2x the most expensive car I've ever even considered, but the lure was too great, and it's a great deal considering! I've already "had my way" with it! =)
