Hi MXP, I'm still yet to get my LEAF. Just received the email from Nissan the other day saying that they have me down as someone interested in one from the Victorian Electric Vehicle Trial. Hoping I can pick up the one that work has as it has done very low kilometres.

    How long WITHOUT installed EVSE?

I'm not too sure. I don't think so. I am due to get the next bill soon, so I'll soon see.

    How long WITHOUT installed EVSE?

Thanks for your reply. I thought we were a little lucky here in Australia with our 240V system.

    How long WITHOUT installed EVSE?

That's a good four months. And I'm guessing you'd be on a 120V. Thanks for your reply.

    How long WITHOUT installed EVSE?

I'm guessing it will still be there because that is what I was going to use and that was the advice I got from the local Nissan dealer. But for some reason at work they are calling it an emergency charger that can only be use for small top ups incase you can't make it all the way back to the...

    How long WITHOUT installed EVSE?

Hi Forums, I hope I haven't missed this question anywhere else on the forums. What I'd like to know is how long have people gone without having an EVSE installed in their home. I live in Melbourne, Australia, and may have the use of a work LEAF for a month or two. I'm being told by the fleet...

I was in the city yesterday, (Monday 3rd June), and saw a blue LEAF on Little Collins near Russell around noon. Was so excited but didn't have a chance to follow as I was turning onto Russell. Was it anyone on here?

    Australian release of Nissan LEAF

Hi ydnas7, The toll roads and freeways are 100km/h, (most of the time). But I don't ever have to go on them while I'm working. There's a stretch of Westall Road that I might use every now and then that hits 100km/h, but most of the roads I use to get from client to client are 60km/h and...

    Australian release of Nissan LEAF

Hey guys, Thanks for your input. The days where I'm doing up to 120km are very rare. It's just I've been keeping a logbook for my taxes for the last 7 years and so have a very good idea of the number of kms I do each day. The last three days where I got up around 120km were split shift days...

    Australian release of Nissan LEAF

Hi DownUnderLeaf and Leighf, I'd heard that there had only been two sales of LEAFs in Melbourne. I think the LEAF will be the ideal car for my current job. I work in Aged & Disability Care in a south eastern suburb. I drive about 80km to 120km a day visiting clients in their homes and...

Thanks GoodWay. I've heard that only two LEAFs have been sold in Melbourne. Kinda sad really. I did a quick search and think there's only one member on here from Melbourne. I hope they don't mind me sending them a message. - - Laith...

Hi Forums, Just introducing myself to the forums. I haven't purchased a Nissan LEAF yet, but I'm hoping to sometime in the next few months. I'm wondering if there are any members on here that live in Melbourne, Australia that would allow me to pick their brain about how they're finding owning...
