    The New Tire Replacement Post

    Obviously I'm late to the party (discussion). I just replaced with new Ecopia's (costco has a Bridgestone deal of $70 off set of four). Yep, seeing 10% (or so) degradation in range. I'm hoping it improves as the tires wear in.

    You know your key-fob battery is running low when... Part 2

    Thanks for the link!! Got these and replaced the battery in my fob no problem. Just had to use a tiny screwdriver and worked my way around the fob until the back popped off (more-or-less).

    There's also SemaConnect for the chargers at Walgreens (which are free for now and don't need a card or account yet). Thanks for the comprehensive list! :D Which brings up a (off-topic?) gripe about public charging infrastructure: Why make us get a card/account for each source? Such a hassle...

    Check with the US Energy department and see if they still have chargers to install for free. I just met a new Leaf owner about a month ago who was able to still take advantage of that program. Level 2 charging is much easier than trickle charging (in my opinion). Its worth having. :)

    I thought Oregon didn't offer the tax credit this year...?

    Hi All, Have you noticed the chargers going into various Walgreens around the region? I contacted the manufacturer for more information: SemaConnect manufactures and sells the ChargePro 620, Level 2, Electric Vehicle Charging station. They said currently those charging stations are all free and...

    Thanks for the reply. I did find these online (see the Trico Exact Fit Hybrid) and wonder if its a suitable replacement: http://www.tricoproducts.com/Trade/WiperProducts/FactoryReplacement/ExactFit" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; :?:

    Has anybody replaced the front windshield wipers yet? If so, is there a way to replace just the rubber strip, or do I have to replace the whole wiper blade unit that detaches from the wiper arm?? Or do I just let the dealer do it at the next service visit? :(

    There are a couple of charging stations in Lincoln City. I'm guessing you could get there on a full charge from Hilsboro?

    How did you come up with $1583? I thought the credit was for a max of $1500.

    I got a notice over the weekend that I have to go in for a software upgrade. I'll have to look at the email again. I don't recall anything about an apron upgrade.

    Yes, you need to apply for it. There was a discussion on this thread back a ways; what form to use, how to fill it out, etc. Excellent info. :)

    I haven't been back there yet, but I think its this one (press release says they're working with 350green who is partnering with Walgreens and other businesses): http://www.semaconnect.com/chargepro.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

    Thanks for the attempt. I should go and try to take a picture of it. The whole unit is part of the small diameter pole. If it wasn't for the charging cord on it, I might not have even noticed it. I don't recall seeing a GE logo on it either. I've also contacted Walgreens (via email) to see if...

    I noticed a new charger at the Walgreens near me at 9159 SE 82Nd Ave Happy Valley, OR 97086 But it was not a brand that I recognized (not Blink or ChargePoint, and doesn't look like OpConnect). Its on a thin pole with a green matrix LED read-out, and wants an RFID card to activate. I can't...
