Afaik a 2020 uses newer generation web services and the NissanConnect Services app, not the NissanConnect EV app. At least here in Europe.

Why don't you use one of the adapters that are described in the LeafSpy documentation and are known to work ?

I think the best way to get this running is to use an OBD adapter that is recommended and tested with LeafSpy. Those are listed in the LeafSpy help file. If you use a BLE adapter (LeLink2) you dont even have to pair your phone with the adapter.
