EVSE - a couple of questions

Can anyone else comment on this? I'm wondering if the '14 Leaf S has the delay timer, if so, how useful/easy to use is it? It seems the ClipperCreek HCS & Bosch are budget friendly (Very similar specs) and the Schneider is a bit more but has built in delay feature.

    Gen 1 GM Volt Plug-In Hybrid (2011-2015)

Debating between the Leaf vs Volt, but with the Volt costing about +$100 more, it seems Leaf is much better.

    SoCal Branch Year 4 LEAF-Gatherings - See Year 5

Sorry to 'threadcrap' and go off topic, I was planning on making it to this meet to get first hand experiences of Nissan Leaf Owners and their feedback on prices but realized last minute that it was Father's Day! I hope to be joining the LA Leaf Team, however, I am trying to get first hand experience regarding the battery on the Leaf. I am thinking about purchasing vs leasing the 2014 Leaf (Base w/ QC). However, I am hearing horror stories regarding the battery and heat... The car will be uncovered and...

    2013/2014 Nissan Leaf Lease Information

Looks like you got a good deal, anyone in SoCal do better yet? Also, with leasing did any qualify for any sort of level 2 charger discount? I'm debating between leasing vs buying. Note: I don't have VPP.

    $3500 cash back

With that said, is it a bad idea to buy the vehicle at the previously said breakdown? Especially with 72mo 0%, it makes it very easy to buy.

    $3500 cash back

Has there been pretty prevalent information on weather vs battery? California is warm and the vehicle will not be garaged.

    $3500 cash back

Why is everyone thumbs down on buying the Leaf? Seems like a great deal Price Breakdown S Base $29,500 -$7,500 (Federal) -$2,500 (State of CA) -$3,500 (Nissan Captive Cashback) ______ $16,000 One should be able to negotiate the $29,500 down to $27k or so, which brings us to $14k or so, plus...
