    Leafs Over Texas!

I agree with this partially, but they also need to understand their target market. Early adopters are highly educated people in which these current plans don't really offer a whole lot of benefit. To many, it's price does not come close to equaling the benefits. I think $90 a month to...

    Leafs Over Texas!

I've got just under 1k in about 2.5 weeks. I put about 60-70 mi a day on it right now. Looks great, Longhorn! Don't you just love that new car smell/look? :) PS jealous of your no front license plate holder. It looks a million times better! Wonder what I can do to restore mine...

    Leafs Over Texas!

I'm not really quite sure why you disbelieve me. Here's a copy of my current electric bill if you wish: This is for a 2300 sq ft. house. We are very careful on our energy usage and granted while we haven't had to run our A/C or heater this month, our bill has never been higher than $202 in...

    Leafs Over Texas!

One thing I wish I had told them prior to PDI is that I didn't want the front license plate holder mounted. I know you're suppose to have it here in Texas, but I never put it on my Acura the 7 years I owned it. I was never cited, warned or even pulled over because of that. I think the car would...

    DFW Metroplex

It was pretty much like that, lol.

    DFW Metroplex

I would definitely avoid Courtesy Nissan. They added "dealer installs" when they got my car without even asking for my permission (pinstripe (I hate pinstripes, but I took it off the minute I got home), nitrogen in the tires, a Rain-X package, wheel locks, ceramic tint (which wasn't installed))...

Woo! That is pretty awesome! I was able to pick up the car 3 days after I got that email. When do you move? When will you be able to get your Blink installed?

    Leafs Over Texas!

Thanks for insinuating I'm an idiot. I've done the math. It's a bad deal and I don't want to pay for it. I paid $1,333.59 for my Blink (including shipping and tax) + $350 for installation. Total EVSE cost = $1683.59. Not to mention I'll be getting back 30% from the EVSE tax credit (30% of...

    Window Tinting

You know what... I think you're right. I just looked at the sticker they're suppose to install on the driver's side and it does say 20. My invoice from them says 30. I still like it, tho. :D

    Window Tinting

It's actually 30%. The photos might make it look slightly darker but it's still pretty dark. Here's the url for the product: http://www.madico.com/window-film/automotive/ Shop in Plano, TX charged about $300 for the whole car.

I could not agree more. This is the second public charging station I've tried to access and been denied because I don't pay a subscription fee. I also tried to access the EVSE at the Whole Foods in Fairview (near Allen, just north of Plano), which was run by ChargePoint. I called the number on...

    Window Tinting

I also got my car tinted. I went with a Wincos film (92% IR reduction) which I think looks pretty awesome. It's not ceramic, but I really like the way it turned out.

    Leafs Over Texas!

So I finally took pictures of Deb (it's what we named our Leaf) after she got a bath! I wanted to wait to post them until after I got the windows tinted. There's two other ones here: https://picasaweb.google.com/116911028717376031476/LEAF?feat=directlink

    Leafs Over Texas!

It was a little bit weird. The smaller "stand" if you will, actually just had an area to swipe your key fob/instructions (https://picasaweb.google.com/116911028717376031476/EVSE#5593980880811175474) but then it was like you had to drive around to the opposite side to use the actual quick charger...
