480v DC from two 240v AC sources

Genius, EVDriver - cant tell if your being facetious or are solving all of our problems at once. Sure it'd get you 480, but how would you ever get from the two L2 chargers?

480v DC from two 240v AC sources

Sorry Smidge - are you saying the current L2 port is used AND a separate mini 240v motor is installed somewhere on-board?

Can the 480v DC charging port accept a lower voltage?

Well, I suppose tying three 30w panels together would be possible. Inversion to recharge is just such a wasteful way to produce DC power. Maybe by incorporating his gen set, we can scrape together enough over two weeks. Thanks again

Can the 480v DC charging port accept a lower voltage?

I suppose the answer then may be to use his two 12 volt deep cycle batteries up there with his 3000w power inverter. Plug in my Level 1 (Nissan supplied portable charger) thru the night. Drain the batts down to 50%. Then - solar charge the batts for a day DC. Then run inversion again thru...

480v DC from two 240v AC sources

So, realistically speaking. There is no way to throw money at a mobile option to take with me, where only Level 2 charge points, exist - thereby, granting me a fast charging option?

Can the 480v DC charging port accept a lower voltage?

Thanks. The 60w, 12v charging device is in fact a solar panel. Thoughts? K

480v DC from two 240v AC sources

Thanks Ray. I was thinking more an L2 public charger, where if two were available, getting out of there twice as fast with the use of an adpter & step converter device of some creation. Kyle

Can the 480v DC charging port accept a lower voltage?

Scenario is: Driving out to my Father's cabin for a couple of weeks, secluded up in the islands (75 miles away). There is no 220v/ 120v electricity up there at the lake, with exception of the emergency only generator. So, question is: is there a way to plug my 60w (12v) DC solar blanket into...

480v DC from two 240v AC sources

Has anyone done this? I already have the 240v adapter from 120v sources on different legs, but has anyone found a way to use two 240v chargers, plugged into a form of adapter/ AC-to-DC converter? Thanks
