You might want to do more research before you type non sense.
Here is what actually happened.
The CVRP was rebate back to ME after I paid back CVRP with cash.
The insurance payout went to NMAC as it should, they did give them my new tire adjustment to them instead of me.
Even though there...
What are you talking about, I am talking about the CVRP refund I have to give back to the state. It has nothing to do with the vehicle's downpayment. The registration fees are not refunded by the state, but because of the accident I lost 11 months worth of registration. I should not have to...
I WROTE THE CHECK TO CVRP after the car totalled. The insurance company wrote the check to NMAC instead of me!!! I paid the DMV fees for 2015-2016, not Nissan. I bought the Leaf in 2013. How the f is it their money?
This is bizarre. How is it that my insurance is paying Nissan my DMV fees (I paid in August) and my CVRP rebate returns (I have 25 months in) to Nissan. They all came out of my pocket!!!! I still don't get why I am getting shafted when my entire family was rear-ended.
That's what they show in the comparsion. I guess it doesn't matter what they pay since it is upside down and GAP will cover it. What I don't get is why does the sales tax go back to them. What if I go out and buy a new car, now I have to pay for sales tax again? It's kind of BS
Insurance pays close to retail price, they can't pay auction price as I can't buy it at that price.
I don't care if it gets totalled, but I do want my $250 in lease payment that i made one day before it got totalled!!! Also the new tires I put in last month
The blackbook value for the car is around 11K, so the damage just has to exceed about 7K to be totalled. I just hope they pay for the September payment I made one day before the accident and the tires I bought last month!!!
Maybe I am naive, I just figure since the damage is all around the C pillar and trunk. I figure the damage would be 5-6K since I don't think any of the suspension pieces were touched, but then the C pillar and the rear unibody holds the mounting point. We shall see, they didn't work Friday. I...
Ron is correct, I think they will pay out 10-11K instead of the 16-17K required to payoff the car. NMAC lease has a clause that is similar to GAP insurance, but doesn't call it that.
I am not trying to make money or do anything, I am just curious to see if it will be totalled or not, that's...
My Leaf was rear-ended by a Ford Ranger and sustained some damage. All the bodywork behind the back seats are either bent or broken. The frame is tweak as the LR door got pushed forward, causing the LF not to be able to open. The suspension appears to be fine, maybe one or two bent end links...
You are stuck with the car. I tried to get out of the lease, I even offer to pay for the one year remaining on it. They just will not take it back early. I tried to get them to clarify some of the early termination option, the woman on the phone just flat out denied to provide me with...
Guys, I have 13 months and 19K miles left on my lease. I really want to get out of it. Does anyone know if Nissan will offer lease assumption without liability? I am willing to pay for all the transfer fees and extra money to get out, but legally its tough
I don't have a timer setup, but will try again.
Also I should mention the problem started when I didn't push the plug deep enough the first time to get the click. Ever since that, I haven't been able to charge. I hope i can make it home
