I generally drive in B Mode because I like to take full advantage of the free charging from braking. But I was wondering what others are doing? Is there an advantage to D Mode that I am not recognizing?

I am excited to get my new Metallic Slate SL in a week or two here in Richmond, VA! I was wondering what is the average number of battery temperature bars you guys see in the summer? Just trying to get a hold on what kind of capacity loss to expect.

Have any of you who own a LEAF in Virginia had any problems with our hot summers in terms of your battery getting too hot or noticeably losing capacity?
Although I respect your opinion and decision, I have to point out that the longer you hold on to a LEAF the greater your savings will inherently be. So citing the long length of time that you keep your cars actually works against your point. ;)
Just wondering how many of you use extension cords with a 220 volt outlet? I have access to a 220 plug at work, but it would take about a 30' extension cord to make it out to the lot. Is this a workable situation with an upgraded EVSE?
