It's been over 48 hours now and still won't connect. I called Nissan Leaf customer service; they said I needed to call the dealer. :evil:

Just got my car back today; I had dropped it off on Tuesday. Either the new units "came really quickly" or Nissan had already been shipping them out to dealers and I just had good timing. However, I can't get it to connect. I followed the instructions (my UserID and PW were still prepopulated)...

Took my car in for this today. The dealer refused to preorder for me (I first called Dec. 6) and insisted on my bringing it in so they could "inspect" it to verify the part needed. Yet, all he did was look at my car's profile already in the computer. He also stated that I am the first Leaf...

Got my letter Friday too. Unfortunately my dealer insisted that they must inspect my car first and will only order the part after that, so I cannot get it done during a single two hour appointment. Fortunately my car is already being towed in Tuesday because it is locked down in Emergency...

I can't even begin to understand the logic, but I have appx 0% understanding of how these things work. I do worry that it means they accidentally sent me a good battery but the one meant for my car is actually crap. I'm just being paranoid, right?

Well, Sherlock Holmes I am not. It took all day for the dealer to call back with a diagnosis and it's something nobody could have guessed. After countless hours on the phone with Nissan Corp., Nissan asked them to send a picture of the battery - the main one that was installed 2 weeks ago...

In my efforts to find out if anyone else had this problem, I definitely came across this! Absolutely planning to get a battery tender once I get my car back; already shopping for one online. Thanks! I was thinking more like if they swapped the traction battery and somehow inadvertently...

I bought my car at 10 bars, and it dropped to 9 within 2 days and dropped again to 8 a month later, so I can only speak for the regen of my 8-bar car since I wasn't in tune with regen right away. At 8 bars, I did have some regen but only when I was creeping in traffic and never more than 3 dots...

I'm in SoCal too. I just ordered mine on 4/15. I told the service rep I knew it takes about 6 weeks, to which she replied that she had a friend who's been waiting 3 months!! :shock:
