Very interesting. I'm also curious what a replacement pack for mine will also be especially if I'm able to wait many more months before a swap. I'd imagine Nissan doesn't have a lot remaining and I'd probably be one of the last replacements. Refurbished? Lizard? Something newer?

Original battery. My in service date wasn't until March 2018 so it sat in a lot in Louisiana for a year. I have paperwork from Nissan from my battery check stating my capacity warranty exp date in 2018. What exactly is the Hx again? I live in Houston so my car gets a lot of heat.

I wouldn't be so sure. It costs money to keep inventory of these things laying around, and from a manufacturing perspective it's cheaper to switch an entire line over to one standard (vs maintaining a sep entire line just to build smaller packs at the random times one is needed).

This is the charger I have (bought from HD) and love it. It's durable and gets the job done. I have it mounted outside on the side of the garage and highly recommend it. The only annoying thing about it is that when not charging, there's a green light that blinks every couple of seconds.
