    GE Durastation jumper help

Thanks all, I used a 18-22awg butt splice connector and trimmed the cover back to the edge of the metal. It fit snugly over the pin, used an 18awg wire, works perfectly.

    GE Durastation jumper help

GlennD, Thanks for the info, but my only issue is the jumper wire itself. I no longer have the jumper that came with my unit and need to get/make another one and needed specs on the pin and jumper wire only. I am aware of all the other issues, installing the jumper and 20/30/40 amp service...

    GE Durastation jumper help

Thanks for the replies, I have the instructions and know how to get the voltage I need. I just needed to know the size of the wire (thanks oilpan). I know I need female to female, the pins are larger than a computer motherboard, I just don't know how to order what I need size wise. If I was...

    GE Durastation jumper help

I have had my Durastation for over 4 years, no issues. I am selling/giving my Leaf to my grandson and he only has access to a 30amp circuit. I know the Durastation must be de-rated and came with a jumper wire to do that. My problem, I have long ago lost/misplaced/disposed of the jumper wire...

Leaf Spy Pro problem Hardware or software?

I have been running Leaf Spy Pro on my Samsung S4 for over a year without any problems. Beginning about two months ago I was having to unplug and replug the OBD to get Leaf Spy to work. I updated to Lollipop 5.0 on my phone on 5/22 but have not connected since 5/17 and have not been able to...

    220V Charging Absolutely Necessary?

I use level 1 only and have a 50 mile round trip commute and it has never been an issue. However, my Leaf is leased and limited to 15K miles per year. There have been lots of times we would have liked to use the leaf but could not because of charging or leased miles. If I had purchased mine...

    Leaf key no start problem

Agree with Mwalsh, yes it is common for BOTH key fobs to go out at the same time.

    3 rd bar loss

Just wondering about the high number of L1/L2 charges, that works out to a charge every 20 miles or so. Were you topping the battery after it charged on a regular basis? Or were you charging at work just because it was there for free? I wonder how much of a difference the number of swallow...

To lease or not to lease that is the question

Neofightr, You are buying and happy with that choice, but you have now spent nearly two pages defending/attempting to justify your decision. We all agree the LEAF is a good EV, Telsa is great but out of the average buyers price range. For some, YES, buying is the better choice. If 12-15K...
