    The old 24Kw battery had 22.5Kw usable. I guess I need to do a full range test one of these days and make sure I have LeafSpy running the whole time to see how much gets used.

    I recently had my 2012 battery replaced under warranty. Notice the Ahr is 66.14. at full charge, 395V * 66.14Ahr = 26kw hmmmm

    Warranty claim submitted by dealer 5/29.17. New battery arrived TODAY, 6/5/17. 6 DAYS !!!!! Working with the service dept to get a date scheduled for the replacement., probably next week.

    Single phase CHADEMO at reduced charge rate. Possible???

    Most ChaDeMo chargers need 3 phase power because it's 477V AC, so it can easily be stepped down slightly and rectified to the 365V-385V DCrequired for a EV battery. 220V AC rectified to DC is only about 250V DC, way too low to charge a EV battery.

    Anyone charging 2 EV's using 100amps mains?

    40A is the "over rating" for a 30A aka 7Kw. 3.6Kw chargers are 15A. If both cars have 6.6Kw chargers then you would need to stagger charging times. Only Teslas can actually use 40A or even up to 80A with a proper Tesla HPWC, but those are mainly intended for commercial locations.

    - I always thought standardized instructions should be under the hood, near the firewall, but in a front end collision that might be crushed bad enough they cant get to it. Prying open the hood is the easy part for firefighters if the car is already wrecked. - Some safety vs design tradeoffs...
