I was rear ended and bought the harness and stock camera wires etc online to give to the body shop to install. I also have a 2013 SL and he had to wire everything from the camera to the nav unit.

Can anyone confirm if the USB actually outputs only .5V, this is a real downer for me because my Android won't even charge at the rate. It requires a minimum of 1v to pull a charge. I was wondering if purchasing this would help...

They are indeed LED, it looks like you have the SV with the LED package, if you have navigation then you for sure have the SV, same as my car. Unless you have HID installed aftermarket you should be able to tell if you pop the hood and see the amps for them. The LEDs cut off like HIDs not...

You are not sure what type of car you purchased? Tell me the features you have, leather, quick charge, LED headlights, navigation etc and I should be able to tell you.

Did you end up using this? If it works for you I will purchase it as well to save me the trouble of splicing wires.

In that case it may work out for you, only thing is the image will be reversed with an aftermarket camera.

Where are you located? I have installed one of those cameras on my old car. Water ended up leaking into the lens after about a year or so.

I actually just got back from visiting Seattle yesterday. So basically all stock parts works listed in this thread and there was no factory wiring from the c pillar to the drivers side kick plate. I have the same exact Leaf and am awaiting parts in the mail which should be delivered today.

No sadly. But like I said there weren't any wires to take a photo of anyway. I just cut the five unused wires at the rear plug that came with the new harness. I jumped the extra/new ground lead at the back panel to the white lead at the plug which is ground for the camera. The red wire is power...
