Used my TED to download my monthly electrical usage for the LEAF. About 238 kWh. I use the car for commuting, so my driving pattern is pretty repeatable. What I've seen so far is that using the heater and preheat adds about twelve percent to my energy consumption.
I have just under 4000 miles on my LEAF now, so I figured up what electricity is costing me. I drive about 870 miles per month, and I pay around $0.15 per kwh, so the LEAF costs me right around five cents per mile. I can live with that!
